Need help for updating a wireless router with 54 Mbps at one with up to 125 Mbps?

Is there any difference to update a wireless router with 54 Mbps for one with up to 125 Mbps even though my desktop and laptop computers have only a maximum of 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter? This I confused a lot. Please help.

Short Answer: No. The reason: even if you get the super fast router, all its cards max out 54, then your router willl have to stop all communication to the speed of the card is talking. therefore, you ne no differnce at all. Furthermore, even if you decides to spend the money on the faster network cards for each OT computers (or at least those who want to run to 125) there is another issue to think about …. the 125mbs is the maximum speed between effictive your comptuer and the only * Router * or, in other words faster data travels between your computer and any other place is determ by the speed of the slowest in the field has to happen. what if you just say 4mb internet connection, then when your connection to the router there is an extra speed of 50 MB which is not beeing used only when the material from the Internet dooing. even if your use of the connection to its maximum. This is also part of the reason that some sites load faster than others. if the Internet connection through the remote computer is slow, no matter how fast of a connection that you buy you still will not get a fast connection to the team. (as it must slow down to enter the other team)
