best place to use built in iSight camera for video conferencing on macbook?

I want my web cam chat with friends who live just an hour and want to know Where are the best place for me to use my iSight with it. any idea where to go for this? i really do not want to spend money on a program. thanks!

I guess you can use iChat, but iChat video does not spoil much and sometimes answered on the basis of how well your internet connection. I recommend using skype or just go to meebo.com and is objective and has a video chat that works very well. The latter two also work if he / she has a pc.
